SAFE and Enel Foundation: “Open Africa Power”

SAFE meets Africa: Master students met the participants of the “Open Africa Power” program

The students, coming from different African countries, participating in the Enel Foundation Open Africa Power project, met the students of the 20th edition of the Master SAFE.

An event characterized by the sharing of ideas and experiences, as well as comparison between deeply different realities, but linked by a single, great focus: the energy world.

“We are honored to be here tonight – said the President SAFE, Raffaele Chiulli – Enel, just as his Foundation is a great reality, based on solid values ​​and principles”.

Open Africa Power is an innovative training and professional development program, created by the Fondazione Centro Studi Enel in collaboration with some Italian universities, including the Milan Polytechnic, the Polytechnic University of Turin and the Bocconi University, and in partnership with some African Universities , including Strathmore University in Nairobi and the University of Addis Ababa.

Participation in the program also gave the group of African guests the opportunity to visit some of the most significant ENEL operational sites for the production and distribution of electricity in Italy.

The Director of Enel Foundation, Dr. Carlo Papa, commented on the sidelines of the event: “We have involved two important companies such as SAFE and the Open Africa Power program, in which we deal with the training of the best talents to ensure the energy transition of the Africa towards a future of sustainability “.
