The Graduation Ceremony of the XXII Edition of the SAFE post-graduate programme in “Energy Resource Management” has been a special occasion to gather main energy enterprises and institutions at the workshop on ecological transition and circular economy.
“Current environmental and social challenges call for new sustainable development models”, underlined Raffaele Chiulli, President – SAFE, “Technological innovation applied to circularity focuses on reuse, regeneration and recycling and resources optimization”.
The Minister of agriculture, food and forestry, Stefano Patuanelli, underlined how energy transition “has to go along with a significant cultural and social transformation. The energy transition is one of the key elements of the ecological transition”.
The Minister stressed out the crucial role of education and outlined the significance of the SAFE post-graduate programme in Energy Resource Management, at the forefront of the ecological transition by providing high professional multidisciplinary training.
The workshop hosted key representatives from main institutions and enterprises and was moderated by RaiNews24, the all–news channel of RAI, national public broadcasting company of Italy.
Special acknowledgments were given to Accenture, Edelweiss, Edison, Engie, EF Solare, Erg, Illumia, Iren , RSE, Terna and the 2021 SAFE Awards to Salvatore Bernabei, CEO of Enel Green Power and Head of Global Power Generation and Stefano Besseghini, President of ARERA (Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment).
Special guest was Marco Maddaloni (Judo champion) who addressed the post graduate partecipants with an inspirational talk, blending the values of sport with the commitment and perseverance required to succeed.
